We’re Training a New Generation of
Worship Leaders
Boyce College is the undergraduate school of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. It offers fully accredited bachelor level degrees that train students for ministry in the local church, missions and other ministry oriented vocations. Boyce College is preparing the next generation of leaders for ministry in the local church and mission fields around the world. All Boyce students receive a thorough theological and ministerial grounding through their core courses.
We offer two degrees for students who are called to ministry in the areas of music and worship: Worship and Pastoral Studies and Worship and Music Studies.
The Worship and Pastoral Studies major is designed to prepare male students for pastoral ministry with a concentration in modern worship leadership. This also includes a focus on songwriting/arranging and preaching. Download the degree plan: Worship and Pastoral Studies
The Worship and Music Studies major is designed to equip students with the necessary skills needed to lead an effective worship ministry in the local church and in other ministry settings.
